Dog thrown in a river to die

A young female springer spaniel cross breed dog was thrown into a river to die after she suffered a prolapse. The dog was rescued by the Dogs Trust pet rescue organisation in Canterbury, and the ordeal the dog was subjected to was said to be “apalling” by Lizzie Reffell of the Dogs Trust.
This is a fine example of an act of cruelty that never should have happened. Charity organisations like the Dogs Trust or Pet Detectives will take in animals that are unwanted.
The spaniel cross, now named Honey, is said to be doing just fine and a new home is currently being sought.
Pet Detectives: Pet Rescue will always take in an animal that has been found abandoned or is simply unwanted.
