Urgent Appeal: Information on Stolen Jack Russel

Pet Detectives: Pet Rescue is investigating the below case, of a Jack Russel puppy who was stolen from outside a Post Office in Burton–on–Trent.

My Jack Russel puppy was stolen from outside Yoxall (near Burton–on–Trent) post office onFriday 29th September at approximately 1.45 pm. She had been secured together with my two other dogs on the Post office railings.

Whilst I was inside the shop I could hear my dogs barking furiously so I left the shop in time to see one of
my dogs being dragged up the road by two youths who slung her into a waiting white transit van and sped away. A passing motorist saw what happened and chased the van for about 10 miles through local villages until they ended up in Barton under Needwood, but lost track of them in the end.

He had telephoned the police who also gave chase without any luck. The reported registration number on the van was false.

The stolen dog is only six months old. She is white all over with a tan face and white nose. She was wearing a pink collar with a name tag with her name and our telephone number on. She has been microchipped. We are offering a reward of £500.
