Lost and Found

This section displays and details lost and found pets. We will display and list details of lost pets from anywhere in the country and have been contacted from as far away as the United States. Please use the above navigation to navigate to the lost cats or to the lost dogs section.

If you wish to have your lost pet detailed in our lost and found pet log, we will require a face on photograph of your missing pet, together with full description details, i.e colour, height, weight and any other distinguishing features or markings.

If you would like to post your missing pet on this website, you will be required to provide a photographic image, together with the details and email this to: info@petdetectives.org. Posting your lost pet on this website is free. Please make sure the images you send are of a suitable quality and not too small. We often receive images only and no details. We do require as detailed description as possible to ensure people have as strong a description of your lost pet as possible. Below are some details we require:

Where your pet went missing from, road name, town, county (country if applicable)

Is your pet microchipped? Was he or she wearing a collar or any other form of identification?

What identifiable markings does your pet have? This may not just be colour markings but may mean character traits. Friendly, shy, has a limp, a kink in his or her tail .. anything that may make your pet jolt the memory of somebody who has seen their photo or read the description.

Are you offering a reward for the safe return of your pet?

The more details you give, the more chance a member of the public has of distinguishing your lost pet with another similar pet.

Each animal will be given a dedicated page within the lost and found listings, with images and description. Alongside this, you may call us for free advice. If you do need us to investigate a missing pet, please do not hesitate to contact us.
