Lost White & Tabby Cat
Holly is a 5 yr old white and tabby female British shorthair. She is microchipped and neutered. She went missing from outside our caravan on Beachside caravan park, Clarach, nr Aberystwyth, SY23 3DL, on Friday 8th June about 12.30. She wasn’t wearing a collar.
She is mainly white with tabby on her back, ears and tail. tabby colouring on her face. giving her a snooty look. She has bright green eyes but no other distinguishing features.
Holly’s owner have made the following appeal for help:
“We were on holiday. It is our caravan and both our cats have always gone with us since they were young. They know the area and never go far. She was sleeping under some plants between our caravan and our neighbours fence.
We have searched the area, placed posters in the site shops, all the sites receptions, posters on telegraph poles, and near post boxes.
The local postmen, local houses have all been leafleted. We did handouts to caravans (over 100).
Local vets, pet shops and rescue centres. Local & national RSPCA, Cats Protection. Her details are on several websites.
We placed ads in the local paper and the local radio put out an appeal in Welsh & English.
My husband stayed for a further two weeks after she disappeared keeping a presence and the caravan door open at night. We have since been down at weekends. Our neighbours who have been their in our absence have kept watching and calling. There is a local lady who feeds strays and she has seen nothing of her. There have been no sightings at all.
We are desperate to get her back to our home in Knutsford, Cheshire, she is very timid. We adopted her and her sister at 7 months old from a rescue centre. They had been there 4 months and they were feral kittens.
Neither have every wandered. It took over a month before they were brave enough to come out of our kitchen.
She had an operation at about 10 months old she builds up crystals in her urine ,and has been on a special urinary food since. She will become ill without it.”
If anyone has seen this cat please come forward. All information will be treated in the strictest confidence.
